"We hope that you enjoyed a lovely holiday season and that 2025 has been off to a great start. Canada Lands Company achieved significant milestones last year with the approval of the 1495 Heron Road zoning and heritage plan from the City of Ottawa.
This month, we’ll begin the next phase of work to advance our project that will enable approximately 1,100 housing units, green space and commercial uses.
On January 20th, deconstruction work will begin with Building 1. Building 2 and Building 3 will be removed in March. The work will follow all provincial and municipal regulations such as environmental requirements and noise by-laws. Activities will start after 7:00 am Monday through Friday.
