Countries like Ukraine will benefit from the future Defense and Security Resilience (DSR) Bank, Canada’s defence minister David McGuinty said during a visit to Luxembourg on Friday.
Luxembourg announced in May that together with Canada it would be a co-founder of the financial institution, which will invest in military infrastructure, cybersecurity and supply chain resilience initiatives across Nato and allied nations.
“SMEs are struggling with access to capital to be able to build themselves up, and so we think this is a very important next step,” McGuinty said at a joint press conference with his Luxembourg counterpart Yuriko Backes.
